There is always room for a statement shoes whether it be brogue, boot or sneaker. In this post I will show you my choice of the latter.

Originally dropping in 1998, the Nike Air Max Plus Tn was a breakthrough design for Nike unlike anything else in the previous line-ups. When these shoes released again in 2018 I was ready.

side from the bold design the visible air cushioning system is what made these shoes functional and fashionable.

The “Tn” logo on the upper heel of the shoes is symbol almost as noticeable as the Nike Check. This is not an element found on the periodic table but rather it stands for ‘Tuned Air’. This was the name of the indvidual air bubbles located in the sole of the shoe. These responsive air bubbles are designed to absorb the impact of a runners feet to the ground and they work very well.

The gold colorway was released at the same time a “silver bullet” colorway was but of course, the gold shoe would be a much more bold choice!

As the final detail the red check and logo details are the cheery on top.
